Early last year, after hours of researching new Digital Marketing books to read and comparing reviews and GoodReads scores (yes, I do that!), I ended up buying Storytelling with Data by Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic. This visually stunning book (as one would expect!), confirmed what I already knew about myself, that I love working with numbers. By the way, I can safely say I have my mom to thank for this, the very first math teacher in my life.
So the Book! It has tips on how to gather, structure and present your data. Shows how the majority of the time less is more and having restraint is actually a good skill when it comes to presenting data. Definitely worth checking out Storytelling with Data if you are starting or are curious about Data Viz.

#SWDChallenge: Back to Basics with Bars
For previous challenges, I’ve utilized Tableau to create graphs. For this one, I wanted to try out Infogram for its dynamic features and great usability.
Many Factors have contributed to this including but not limited to: Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, Migration, decline in child births, etc.
Click the Play Button to view data changes from 2010 to 2018.

For the #SWDchallenge, I created an Interactive Tableau Dashboard. Check it out: https://t.co/s1JoOmSMHF – First time participating and using Tableau so that was fun. Normally I use Data Studio. pic.twitter.com/7ZnkRHaNXL— Jayleen Nazario (@jayleennazario) March 15, 2019
