How I Use Feedly to Keep Track of Digital Marketing Updates

Can we all admit that, when it comes to Digital Marketing, we learn more on the job and from reading case studies and content written by people in the industry than anywhere else. If I’m being honest, I don’t remember when was the last time I applied a lot of the stuff that I learned in college. I think we can all agree on that, right? And can we also agree that at some point in our careers we do that google search “top marketing blogs” or something similar because we are eager to learn more and just keep up with all the trends. And then we bookmark them all, and make a plan to look at them daily or weekly but it just ends up being a lot!

So you have three options really. A. bookmark all the sites and navigate until you find content that might interest you. B. sign up to their newsletter (but that might end up being 5+ newsletter a week) c. use a content aggregator to keep track of all the blogs. Months ago, I went with C and after some research, opted for Feedly.

Feedly is a news aggregator that allows you to group blogs into folders and ultimately have a feed for each category.

Feedly - Digital Marketing Feed

As seen on the image above, I use both Category-specific Feeds and Boards. Feeds will show you the latest posts for each of the blogs you decide to add in each feed, while the boards are good to add all the posts you want to save for future use.

It’s a great platform to keep all blogs in just one place that will allow you to choose which topics to focus on and on your own time. Their Free Version includes all the features you will need on Desktop and Mobile (they have an app!).

So if you are curious about some of the blogs I have in these feeds, I’ve added them below!

My Favorite Blogs at the Moment

In each of these categories, I follow more than five blogs but didn’t want to bombard you with an extensive list and decided to just focus on the ones that I tend to bookmark a lot from.

Email Marketing

SEO

Paid Advertising

Social Media

Analytics & Data Viz

What other Digital Marketing Blogs do you follow? Also, if you are not using Feedly yet, how do you stay up-to-date with with all the latest? Let me know in the comment section below!
